Once again we’re taking a look at a new TV show, this time being the new Fox drama Alcatraz. While we all overall really like the show, there were a few differing opinions, as well as some comparisons to Lost. We’re not saying it’s that good, but we definitely think it could fill the void you might be feeling in between seasons of some of your other favorite shows.

Still reeling from our over-indulgence of turkey and yams, we decide to break routine just a bit this episode and talk about the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. We wouldn’t be doing this if it weren’t outrageously good (at least three of us thought so) as we normally just bookend the season of a TV show instead of talking about it in the middle of the season. Be warned, we definitely talk spoilers so if you haven’t watched it yet do yourself a favor and do so before listening to this episode. Trust us, you don’t want this ruined.

Not only do we once again talk about another TV show, but this time we do it completely opposite of the way we normally do by discussing the new Showtime drama Homeland in the middle of the season rather than the beginning and end. We absolutely love this show and talk about it all the time anyway when we’re not recording so we figured we’d go ahead and make an episode about it. Not only do we highly recommend watching this show but we also highly recommend you listening to our thoughts on it.

We know what you’re thinking…TV? Again? Yes, TV again. We honestly didn’t plan it this way but there’s so much good stuff on TV right now that that’s all we’ve been doing lately (when we’re not playing Batman: Arkham City and Skyrim, but that’s for another show). This time we take a look at the new AMC drama Red Dead Redemption Hell on Wheels. Do we think this is worthy enough to follow The Walking Dead on Sunday nights? Dan was had been very excited for this show for a long time while the other guys were just lukewarm about it. Did anyone’s opinions change after seeing the premier episode? We begin our second set of 100 episodes by offering some thoughts on the return of a beloved (to some) show about two complete losers making fun of things on TV and getting into all kinds of trouble. No, they didn’t make a show about Opey and Dan, we’re talking about Beavis and Butt-Head. Does the show still hold up today? Does it offer anything new or the same dumb humor from 15 years ago? We did it! After more than two long years we finally entered triple digits with episode 100. And given the time of year, what better way to celebrate than by serving up an extra-special Halloween-themed episode. We kick things off with our review (sort of) of the 2007 Halloween classic Trick ‘r Treat. We even have some clips of us watching it to boot. Then we move to the silver screen and offer up some thoughts on the new FX hit American Horror Story. After that we just sit back and talk about some scary stories that actually happened to us. Was there any doubt that we’d be talking about this? The Walking Dead is a Geek Bits Hall of Fame topic and after what seemed like the longest year EVER we finally get to see the premier to season 2. We’re sure you can guess what we thought about it, but listen on just to be sure.

One of our favorite shows in recent years, Dexter, saw the premier of its sixth season just a couple of weeks ago. Three episodes have aired as of this posting, but we couldn’t let that stop us from discussing our opinions of the first episode. How do we think it holds up against other seasons?
