It’s been over a week since Iron Man 2 was released and we’re just now offering up our thoughts on this movie. You’ll hear that we’re kind of all over the place with our thoughts during this Geek Byte but that’s only because we’ve already talked about it so much, and that’s only because we loved it so much. What did you think of the movie?
We all know and love Opey. He’s irreplaceable. However, he was on vacation this week so we replaced him with Geek Bits uber-fan (and Matt-sister) Caroline. She helps us discuss such things as the MPAA broadcasting new movies straight to your home, EA Sports bending you over to play used games online, and Marvel’s Super Hero Squad getting its own MMORPG. We then bring in our good buddy Dave to talk bad movies. Opey who?

It is with a heavy heart that we bring you this episode. Some would say that we’ve beaten the proverbial horse to death with this but since Dan and Matt recorded Geek Byte #8 Opey had the chance to see the movie and wanted to weigh in with this thoughts. We also have a special guest for this one!
This week’s episode was recorded a couple of days late (Friday as opposed to Wednesday) but that doesn’t mean it’s not a top-quality show (only because we never have top-quality shows). This week we discuss cheap Marvel movies, Adobe finally packs their things and leaves Apple for good, and different types of Xbox Live players (we’ve played against all these types). Opey asks us if PC gaming is dead and Matt wonders if the iPhone 4 leak was really an accident.

At long last, Kick-Ass has finally hit theaters. Matt and Dan were able to go see it over the weekend and definitely have some thoughts about it. We absolutely love the comic but did we love the movie? Listen and find out.
We say this all the time but we were in rare form this episode. Luckily we were able to edit a lot of that out in order to give this episode some sense of normalcy. Marvel at our opinions of Netflix’s new deal with Fox and Universal, lies of piracy numbers, Korean gaming, reboots, and movies we’ve never seen.
